Intermission Collective was founded in early 2019 by two artists. Since then, its international members have realized two exhibitions and an artist residence in Italy on the subject of Function.Anomy in the context of public space.
In search of suitable possibilities of organization, communication and administration, for common goals and approaches, between constructive proposals, fruitless meetings, misunderstandings, identification and alienation, amidst beer, red wine and cigarettes, a functioning network of artists working across different disciplines is gradually forming.
In the exhibition, this process and the topic Function.Anomy come into focus once again, this time as an exemplary synthesis of internal dynamics that the realization of a group exhibition entails.
