THILO DROSTE
Works:
Thilo Droste was born 1977 in Bavaria. After doing an apprenticeship as a stuccoer he studied fine arts at the Braunschweig University of Arts. Since 2007 he lives and works in Berlin.
In his artistic work Thilo Droste is dealing with found situations and contexts and thematic questions about originality and authenticity.
In doing so, he contrasts the complexity in the processing of content with a sly homour lightness in the realisation - wit and thoughtfulness, abysmal simplicity and sensuality characterise the appearance of his works in addition to cross-media technical expertise.
